• Check the size. Labradors should have a proportioned body. They have a standard size where males should stand 22.5-24.5 inches (55.9-62.5 cm) tall and weight 65–80 lbs. (30–36 kg). Females should stand 21.5–23.5 inches (54.5–60 cm) and weight 55–70 lbs. (25–32 kg).
• Coat. Coat should be water repellant so that dogs would not get cold during winter season. Coats should be solid and should be short and dense.
• Jaws. It must be powerful and should slightly hang and curve gracefully back.
